Brookwater celebrates twin milestones with 25-year anniversary and new mini golf attraction

Brookwater Golf & Country Club is celebrating both its 25th anniversary and the opening of a new mini golf course, two major milestones in the evolution of a premier Queensland golfing destination.

Since opening in 2001, the Greg Norman-designed championship course has earned national recognition as one of Australia’s finest courses (this year voted in the top three courses in Queensland by Golf Digest), with Springfield City now investing in its next chapter through the addition of a family-friendly mini golf attraction.

Springfield City Group Founder and Chairman Maha Sinnathamby AM said the dual milestones reflected Brookwater’s transformation from a bold vision into a landmark golf precinct and highly sought-after residential community.

“Twenty-five years ago, we set out to create far more than a golf course. We wanted to create a destination that would become the heart and soul of a thriving community and one of Australia’s great golf experiences,” Mr Sinnathamby said.

“When Greg Norman first walked this site, he immediately recognised the extraordinary beauty of the landscape and its potential to become a world-class golf course. His vision and our commitment to excellence have created something truly special.

“Brookwater has always been about bringing people together through golf, recreation and lifestyle. The opening of Brookwater Mini Golf builds on that vision by creating another reason for families and visitors to enjoy everything this remarkable precinct has to offer.”

Brookwater Mini Golf features 18 holes set within the precinct’s natural bushland surrounds, combining sandstone-inspired landscaping, native vegetation and a course designed to challenge players of all ages.

Designed for both day and night play, the attraction complements the championship golf course while broadening Brookwater’s appeal for recreation, dining and entertainment.

The official opening of Brookwater Mini Golf takes place on 7 August 2026.
